Thomas Harry Osborn, 40, of Ainsworth, was arrested Thursday morning in the 400 block of Fifth Street in Ainsworth for contempt – failure to appear on violation of a no-contact order.
Tyrice Davis, 41, of Moline, Ill., was arrested Thursday morning in the 200 block of West Main Street in Washington on a warrant for failure to appear for genetic testing.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday morning at H Avenue and Third Street in Kalona. Officers responded. Information was exchanged.
A caller reported scraping a vehicle Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of North Eighth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Information left under the wiper.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Thursday evening in the 1600 block of Highway 218 in Riverside. Officers were advised.
A jeep with front-end damage was reported in the south ditch in the 1300 block of 190th Street in Keota Friday morning. A subject inside advised they were not injured and did not want help. They were lethargic and the caller believed they might be intoxicated. Officers responded. They had swerved to miss a deer and were not intoxicated. The vehicle was towed.
A stop arm violation was reported Thursday morning in the 100 block of Golf View Lane in Washington. Officers were advised.
A vehicle was reported Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of East Main Street in Washington with an unrestrained child. Officers were unable to locate.
Sexual child abuse
A possible sexual assault was reported Thursday morning in the City of Kalona. The incident is under investigation.
A deputy was requested in the City of Riverside to make contact with the caller’s daughter regarding an assault that took place on Nov. 10. The subject would also like to find out about getting a no-contact order as a result of the assault. Officers spoke with the subject.
Three subjects reportedly assaulted a 14-year-old subject in the 800 block of Second Street in Wellman Thursday evening. Officers responded. The incident is under investigation.
A report of theft by credit card fraud was received Thursday afternoon in the City of Washington. The incident is under investigation.
All other thefts
Medication was reported located on a subject in the 3100 block of Vine Avenue in Crawfordsville that did not belong to the subject. Officers spoke with the caller. The medication was returned to the rightful owner. The incident was documented.
Someone reportedly stole about 120 gallons of diesel fuel from a truck and broke the pump nozzle Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of South Airport Road in Washington. The incident was documented.
A caller reported having an argument with her husband Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of West Fifth Street in Washington. Officers responded. Nothing physical. The parties were separated.
A loose dog was reported Thursday afternoon in the City of West Chester. The incident was documented.
An underage subject was reported smoking a cigarette Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Brighton. Officers spoke with the parents.
All other offenses
An officer was requested Thursday morning in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington in reference to a problem with a student. Parents were contacted. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona reported Thursday morning that she was with a subject in his pajamas. He had no shoes on. She believes he walked there from the trailer park. Officers spoke with the caller. The subject was returned home. Officers spoke with the caregiver and will advise DHS.
Several juvenile subjects were reported acting inappropriately Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The juveniles were fine and not doing anything wrong.
Two suspicious juveniles were reported Thursday evening in the 500 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A caller in the 60 block of North Greene Street in Riverside reported Thursday evening that a mother came to the fire hall while they were having a meeting and reported that her 11-year-old son was missing from the park next door. Riverside Fire Department and Riverside QRS were already on the scene. Officers responded. The child was located and fine.
