Skyler Rayann Cooper, 22, of Kalona, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of Fifth Street in Kalona for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Benjamin Bahtic, 21, of Kalona, was arrested at the same time and location for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Christopher Maxwell White, 21, of Washington, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for trespassing.
A hit-and-run accident was reported Thursday morning at North Fourth Avenue and East 11th Street in Washington. Damage was reported to the driver’s side fender of the caller’s vehicle. Officers located the driver. Information was exchanged.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Thursday afternoon at Highway 92 and Lexington Boulevard in Washington. The vehicle was drivable.
A vehicle was reported in a ditch Thursday night at 250th and Birch Avenue in Keota. Keokuk County located the vehicle.

A vehicle stop was reported Thursday morning on Highway 218 milepost 80 in Riverside. Charges are pending DCI lab results.
A vehicle was reported driving erratically Thursday morning at Highways 1 and 22 in Kalona. The vehicle was located. The driver was OK to drive.
An erratic driver was reported Thursday morning at North Fifth Avenue and East Seventh Street in Washington. The vehicle reportedly jumped a curb, pulled in front of a truck and didn’t stop for a stop sign. No plate information was available.
A vehicle was reported parked in the 200 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington Wednesday afternoon and it had been there for several days without moving. Officers tagged the vehicle and chalked the tires.
A family dispute was reported Wednesday night in the 1100 block of Redwood Avenue in Riverside. A subject reportedly threatened to harm others. The subject agreed to go by private vehicle to get some help.
A caller in the 600 block of Park Street in Ainsworth reported Wednesday afternoon applying for a job on the Internet and being given a check to keep half and send half back. The check was not valid. The incident was documented. The caller was given the number of the better business bureau.

A go-cart was reported stolen Wednesday afternoon in the 2900 block of Highway 22 in Riverside. The incident was documented.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $42 was reported Thursday morning in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers made contact the subject who will return and pay.
A car in the 500 block of East Madison Street in Brighton was reported taken without the owner’s consent. Officers attempted to locate.
A caller in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Washington reported receiving intimidating E-mails. The incident was documented. Officers contacted the other subjects and advised her to stop E-mailing.
A caller in the 2900 block of 180th Street in Ainsworth reported Thursday morning harassment via phone and text over a Craig’s List dispute. Officers spoke with all parties involved. They were advised to have no further contact.
A loose dog was reported Wednesday morning in the 200 block of Franklin Street in West Chester. Officers responded. A verbal warning was given.
A loose dog was reported Thursday evening in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton. Officers spoke with the caller. The dog was inside on arrival.
Loud music was reported Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. The music was not loud but the subjects agreed to turn it down.

A caller in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday night that his mother would not let his 19-year-old sister leave the residence. Officers responded. Unfounded.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 2800 block of 305th Street in Crawfordsville reported Wednesday evening trying to get a subject to leave and the subject refused. Officers responded. The parties agreed to get along until the subject packed and left.
Car keys were reported missing from a residence in the 300 block of Fourth Street in Wellman Wednesday evening.
Public service contact
A caller in the 500 block of East Seventh Street in Washington requested assistance Thursday morning locating his glasses in a parking lot. Officers responded. The glasses were located.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday morning on several children at a residence in the 1700 block of Cedar Avenue in Keota. The caller reported she never sees the children leave for school and they are outside all hours of the day. Officers spoke with the mother, who advised the kids were home-schooled through the Mid-Prairie School District.
