Logan Brian De Jaeghere, 10, of Washington, was charged with two counts of simple assault.
A vehicle with a flat tire was reported parked in the 1100 block of East Third Street in Washington Monday evening. The vehicle had been there for about a month. Officers responded and chalked the tires.
Sexual child abuse
A possible case of sexual child abuse was reported Monday evening in the City of Wellman. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 2800 block of 280th Street in Washington reported Monday night that someone broke into his residence and took a large amount of old quarters and pocket change. Officers responded.
All other thefts
A gas drive-off in the amount of $10.01 was reported Monday afternoon in the 600 block of E Avenue in Kalona. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A gate was reported knocked down Monday afternoon in the 3200 block of 140th Street in Riverside. Officers responded and assisted the caller in getting the gate back up. No vandalism. Officers spoke with a suspect, who denied damaging the fence and believed it was from a deer.
A caller in the 3200 block of Redwood Avenue in Wayland reported Monday afternoon receiving threatening and harassing text messages. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of North Harrison Street in Brighton reported Monday afternoon the neighbor’s dog came onto his property and attacked his loose dog. Officers spoke with the caller and the neighbor.
A barking dog was reported Monday night in the 700 block of 12th Avenue in Wellman. Officers checked the area. No barking dog was found.
A suspicious vehicle was reported Monday afternoon in the 3000 block of Timberline Drive in Riverside. Officers responded and spoke with the driver. He was a vacuum salesman.
Loud banging noises were reported Tuesday morning in the 200 block of Mechanic Street in Brighton. Officers made contact with the caller. The caller advised that three juveniles ran from the area. Officers were unable to locate.
