Jimmie Lee Stringer, 22, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington for assault with injury and disorderly conduct.
Jessica Marie Dennis, 22, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington for disorderly conduct.
Charges of criminal mischief were filed on Elieanna Rose Cucchiara, 14. A charge of aiding and abetting criminal mischief was filed on Demetral Chane Cucchiara, 12.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday morning at W66 and 140th Street in Columbus Junction. The vehicle was towed.
An accident was reported Tuesday night in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. A subject reported that her vehicle was struck and the suspect vehicle left the area. The incident was documented.
A caller in the City of Brighton reported Tuesday night he was walking a 10-year-old girl home and an older vehicle was driving erratically and almost hit them. Officers attempted to locate.
Motor vehicle theft
A caller reported a stolen vehicle from a residence she once lived in located in the 3000 block of Rhinestone Drive in Riverside. The caller returned from being out of state for a year to move out of the residence and retrieve her vehicle. Officers responded. Unfounded. The trailer had been removed from her property. The caller was advised to contact the previous landlord.
A horse was reported out in the 2300 block of Spruce Avenue in Washington Tuesday afternoon. Officers attempted to locate the owner. Another passerby reported the owner was putting the horse back.
A loose dog was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of E Avenue in Kalona. The owner reportedly had three dogs that were constantly loose. Officers were advised. The owner was made aware of the complaint.
A caller reported a suspicious subject Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of North Van Buren Street in Brighton. The subject was dressed in camouflage and loading an arrow into a crossbow. Officers responded and spoke with hunters who were there to hunt from a tree stand. No problem.
A subject dressed in black was reported loitering Tuesday night at G Avenue and Third Street in Kalona. Officers were unable to locate.
