A caller reported subjects were burning illegally in the 800 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington Monday morning. Officers responded. Sticks and a few pieces of paper were found burning.
Sexual child abuse
A possible case of sexual abuse was reported Monday morning in the City of Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 200 block of South Van Buren in Washington reported Monday morning that a neighbor notified him that a subject went through the back window of his apartment. The caller said it was his younger son, who was not supposed to be there. Officers responded. The subject was gone on arrival.
Ashley Christine Franklin, 25, of Gunningson, Ms., was cited Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for fifth-degree theft.
All other thefts
A laptop was reported stolen Monday evening in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A caller in the 3100 block of 175th Street in Ainsworth reported Monday morning someone had hit her mailbox overnight. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 2100 block of Palm Avenue in Washington reported Monday afternoon her daughter’s friend was harassing her. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Monday night that subjects kept driving by and yelling things. Officers were unable to locate.
A caller reported Sunday night that a subject had thrown a firework between the caller and a bike at City Park in Brighton, which caused the caller’s son to get into a physical altercation with the subject. The subject then assaulted the caller’s older son. Officers spoke with all parties and advised them to stay separated. The fireworks were confiscated.
Someone was reported banging on a residence Friday night in the 300 block of Fourth Street in Wellman. Officers checked the area.
Trespassing was reported on a property in the 200 block of South Benton Street in Brighton Friday afternoon. The incident is under investigation.
A dog was reported on the caller’s back porch in the 300 block of East Jefferson Street in Washington Friday afternoon. Officers spoke with the owner.
A dog reportedly was getting stuck between its pen and doghouse Monday afternoon in the 500 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
A caller reported Monday afternoon that her neighbor was allowing his three dogs to go into her yard. Officers spoke with the subject.
A loud noise was reported Friday evening in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded.

A deputy was requested Friday morning at Juniper and 140th in Kalona to speak with the caller’s daughter in reference to some issues she had at her residence. Officers spoke with all parties.
A violation of a no-contact order was reported Friday morning in the 2600 block of West Sockum Ridge road in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 800 block of South C Avenue in Washington reported Saturday morning that subjects who stay with him would not let him in his residence. Officers responded.
Two subjects reportedly came to a residence in the 1700 block of Highway 78 in Brighton to get items and were trying to break down the front door. Officers responded. The subjects retrieved the belongings.
A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Monday afternoon that his neighbor kept using his washer and dryer without permission. Officers spoke with both subjects.

A deputy was requested Friday afternoon to check on a missing juvenile in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona. Officers responded.
A caller in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Saturday morning that his 18-year-old daughter didn’t come home after work. Officers attempted to locate.
A caller in the 600 block of West Second Street in Washington reported Sunday evening she had not seen her son since the previous night. Officers responded. The subject was located.
The front doors of a vacant property in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street in Washington were reported open Friday morning.
A subject was reported Friday evening engaged in inappropriate activity Friday evening in the 200 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth. Officers responded. Miguel Anjel Hernandez was cited for no driver’s license.
A beeping sound was reported coming from a dumpster in the 300 block of East River Street in Riverside Saturday afternoon.
Subjects were reported knocking on doors and running away Saturday evening in the 400 block of South Third Avenue in Washington. Officers were advised.
A caller in the 1100 block of Enterprise Drive in Riverside reported Sunday afternoon a subject had tried to pay for gas with a $100 bill. When the caller held the bill up to the light, the subject grabbed it back and gave her a $20. The incident was documented.
A suspicious subject reportedly knocked on the door of a business in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington Monday night after the business was closed. Officers responded. The subject left prior to officers’ arrival.
