Trevon Fenton, 20, of Washington, was arrested Thursday morning in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington for failure to appear for arraignment on assault.
Mitchell Wayne Brown, 24, of Wayland, was arrested Thursday evening in the 3200 block of Redwood Avenue in Wayland for domestic assault.
A caller reported Thursday morning that a gray truck struck her friend’s vehicle and was trying to leave. Officers responded. Information was exchanged.
Joshua Alan Teel, 22, of North Liberty, was cited Thursday evening at Fourth Street and Highway 22 in Wellman for driving under suspension.
Two junk cars were reported on fire Thursday morning in the 2700 block of Palm Avenue in Washington. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. The fire was extinguished.
A caller in the 1600 block of Palm Avenue in Washington reported Thursday morning that her father was at her residence and had assaulted her. Officers responded and spoke with both subjects. The caller will stay at the residence. The father was given option pertaining to a committal.
An officer was requested Thursday afternoon in the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington for a child welfare check. The incident is under investigation.
All other thefts
A radar detector was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of C Avenue in Kalona Thursday afternoon. The incident was document.
A caller in the 300 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Thursday afternoon being harassed. A second caller also advised being harassed and there is a valid no-contact order. Officers spoke with both subjects.
A caller in the 600 block of Ash Street in Riverside reported Thursday evening a subject was harassing her. Officers responded. A verbal warning was given.
A caller in the 10 block of Parkside Estates Road in Washington reported Thursday evening receiving harassing texts. Officers spoke with both subjects.
A subject was reported out of control Thursday evening in the 500 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
An officer was requested Friday morning in the 100 block of South B Avenue in Washington to reports of people being loud. Officers responded.
All other offenses
A subject was reported in a business in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington who kept saying “home” but did not know where he was. The subject also inappropriately grabbed customers. Officers responded and transported the subject to his residence.
Subjects were reported in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue in Wellman going door-to-door trying to sell items. Officers responded.
A caller in the 200 block of South D Avenue in Washington reported Thursday afternoon a possible fake Facebook profile. The caller had blocked the subject and passed information on to Facebook.
