A rollover accident was reported Tuesday afternoon at 135th and Tulip in Riverside. All occupants were out of the vehicle. Officers, the Iowa State Patrol, Washington County Ambulance, Riverside QRS and Riverside Fire and Rescue responded. Two subjects were transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers, Washington Fire, Washington County Rescue, and Washington County Ambulance responded. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 3300 block of 190th Street in Columbus Junction requested documentation Tuesday afternoon that his interlock ignition device did not properly work. The incident was documented.
A house was reported on fire Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Main Street in Washington. The caller and the children did not go in, but they could hear the smoke alarm and see smoke. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. The fire started with a burner on the stove. The fire was extinguished.
A caller in the 500 block of Ninth Avenue in Wellman reported Wednesday morning two subjects assaulted her boyfriend on his way home from the bar. Officers, Wellman First Responders and Washington County Ambulance responded. The patient was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The incident is under investigation.
A vehicle stop was reported Tuesday evening at Juniper and 190th Street in Washington. A warning was give for speeding. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending.
A caller in the City of Washington reported Tuesday afternoon that she was receiving disturbing texts and photos. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 500 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday morning his 17-year-old nephew was out of control. Officers responded. The subject calmed down. Information will be forwarded to juvenile probation.
A child was reported out of control Tuesday evening in the 300 block of North Street in Kalona. Officers responded. The child calmed down.
A barking dog was reported Tuesday morning in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Wellman. Officers responded.
A caller in the 200 block of Jefferson Street in Kalona reported Tuesday afternoon that the neighbor’s goat injured his mother. Jesse Ryan Love, 23, of Richmond, was cited for allowing a goat to run at large.
A barking dog was reported Tuesday night in the 400 block of South Second Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
A loose dog was reported Wednesday morning at Main Street in Kalona. Officers were advised.
A caller in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton reported Wednesday morning that he woke up to find his son had left the house and had not returned. Officers responded. The son came home.
