A caller in the 1800 block of Highway 218 in Ainsworth reported Thursday morning that he had blacked out for a short time and his vehicle went into the ditch. He was complaining of severe back pain. Officers and Washington County Ambulance responded. The subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The vehicle was towed.
A school bus stop arm violation was reported Thursday morning in the 1200 block of Highways 1 and 92 in Washington. Officers were advised. Photo documentation was provided. The incident is under investigation.
A tree reportedly fell on an unoccupied vehicle Thursday evening in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington. Officers responded. The owner was advised to the damage. The city was notified. The incident was documented.
A fire was reported spreading Thursday evening in the 2400 block of Sockum Ridge road in Washington. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. It was a controlled burn that got out of control. The fire was extinguished.
A caller in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street in Brighton reported Thursday evening that her sister came to her residence, they had gotten into an argument, and the sister threatened suicide and tore out of the driveway, driving crazy. Officers responded. The subject advised she was fine and the family will keep an eye on her.

A bike was reported stolen Thursday evening in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A county employee reportedly had an issue Thursday morning in the 2500 block of Vine Avenue in Ainsworth that he wanted to report to a deputy. Officers responded. The incident was documented. The subject will be sent an enforcement letter.
A loose dog was reported Thursday morning in the 400 block of East Main Street in Washington. Officers spoke with the owner.
Family offense non violent
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Thursday afternoon in the 2900 block of Highway 1 in Washington. Officers spoke with a subject.
A caller in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona reported Thursday afternoon that his son’s girlfriend was moving out and they were shouting at each other and it was becoming heated. Officers responded. The parties were separated. It was a civil issue.
Someone reportedly attempted to start a fire in the back yard of a business Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
A possible misuse of a handicapped placard was reported Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of East Tyler Street in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
