Patsy Mae Trussell, 37, of Wayland, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for driving under suspension.
Tyler Elliott Carpenter, 29, of New London, was arrested Wednesday morning at Main and Fourth Avenue in Washington for OWI. Joshua Lee Holmes, 29, of Ainsworth, was arrested at the same time and location for interference with official acts.
An accident was reported Tuesday morning in the 1200 block of Vine Avenue in Riverside. Officers responded. Jill Caitlin Humrichouse of West branch was cited for failure to stop at a safe and assured distance.
Motor vehicle thefts
A caller in the 800 block of South Third Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday morning someone stole her vehicle overnight. The vehicle had a full tank of gas and the keys were in the console. The vehicle was locked.
A caller reported Tuesday evening that a group of juveniles assaulted her 8-year-old son in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers counseled all parties involved.
An officer was requested Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington for a student allegedly smoking marijuana on school grounds. Officers responded. No criminal charges. The student was suspended for five days.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon she returned home to find her house “trashed” and her dog was missing. Officers responded. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 400 block of Ella Street in Riverside reported Tuesday evening that someone entered his apartment and stole $160 in Blu-Ray DVDs. Officers spoke with the caller.
All other thefts
A bicycle was reported stolen Tuesday morning in the 600 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A loud disturbance was reported Wednesday morning in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects went inside for the night.
All other offenses
Two small children were reported Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of North 12th Avenue in Washington with no adult supervision. The caller had spoken with them and they said they were on a walk. Officers located the children and transported them to their residence.
A possible no-contact order violation was reported Tuesday night in the 100 block of Green Meadows Drive in Washington. Officers responded. No violation. The incident was documented.
Officers were requested Tuesday morning in the 2200 block of 250th Street in Washington to assist with the caller’s 16-year-old daughter. Officers responded.
Family offense non violent
A subject was reported in the 1000 block of North Second Avenue in Washington Sunday night and would not leave. Officers responded.
A caller in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Monday night that her 14-year-old daughter was being uncooperative and making threats due to the caller taking her cell phone away as punishment. Officers responded.
A suspicious vehicle was reported Friday morning in the 800 block of South Eighth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
A subject was reported Friday afternoon in the 2500 block of Underwood Avenue in Ainsworth selling magazines. The subject was advised to stop selling until he obtained the proper paperwork.
Four subjects were reported lying in the street at North 12th and East Washington Street in Washington Saturday evening. Officers responded and spoke with the subjects.
A caller in the 600 block of South Seventh Avenue in Washington reported Saturday night that someone was ringing his doorbell. Officers checked the area.
Two subjects were reported in the back yard of a residence in the 100 block of Railroad Street in Riverside Saturday night. Officers responded. The subjects were gone on arrival.
A caller in the 1400 block of Fir Avenue in Wellman reported Sunday afternoon her neighbors witnessed two subjects go onto her property while she was away. Officers responded and checked the residence.
Two subjects in a white van were reported Sunday evening taking pictures of a residence at South B Avenue and West Adams Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A suspicious subject was reported hanging out in the 500 block of Old Military Road in Ainsworth Tuesday morning. Officers responded.
A caller in the 300 block of Fourth Street in Wellman reported Saturday afternoon that her son left the residence after a verbal argument. Officers responded. The subject was located.
The K9 unit was requested Sunday evening in the 31000 block of 110th Street in Kinross to assist with searching for a missing 11-year-old girl. Officers responded. The family located the girl.
A welfare check was requested Friday morning on a subject in the 100 block of West Second Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subject was located.
