Cristina Baltazar Bautista, 44, of Columbus Junction, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of Old Military Road in Ainsworth for first-degree burglary and willful injury.
Jeffrey Jay York, 46, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday evening at North Fourth Avenue and East Sixth Street in Washington on a warrant for disorderly conduct.
A vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers responded. Information was exchanged.
A possibly intoxicated driver was reported Wednesday night in the 600 block of West Second Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A caller reported finding drug paraphernalia Wednesday evening in the 600 block of D Avenue in Kalona. Officers responded.
A shop in the 2400 block of 297th Place in Washington was reported broken into Wednesday morning and several items were taken. Officers responded.
A caller in the 3100 block of Eastview Circle Drive in Riverside reported Wednesday afternoon that he was missing some items from his basement. Officers were advised.
All other thefts
A bicycle was reported stolen Wednesday afternoon in the 800 block of Sixth Avenue in Wellman. The subject located the bike at a nearby residence. Officers spoke with the parents.
A caller reported Wednesday evening that someone stole her wallet in the 1100 block of Enterprise Drive in Riverside.
Liquor law violations
David Allen Edgar of Crawfordsville was cited Wednesday afternoon in the 3100 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth for selling alcohol to a minor.
Misty Renae Oxenford of Coralville was cited Wednesday evening in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman for selling alcohol to a minor.
A puppy was reported inside a kennel in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington Wednesday afternoon and the windows were barely cracked. Officers responded. The owner was counseled.
A crop duster was reported flying low over a residence in the 2300 block of 170th Street in Kalona Wednesday afternoon. Officers responded. The caller will speak with the airport. The incident was documented.
All other offenses
A caller in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton reported Wednesday afternoon that juveniles were constantly throwing trash onto her property and they had torn down part of her fence. Officers spoke with both parties.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 1100 block of East Third Street in Washington reported Wednesday night that a family member was causing problems and needed to be removed. Officers responded.
A caller in the 2500 block of 330th Street in Wayland requested documentation that someone removed the chain on the gate to his livestock pasture. The caller was missing at least three calves. The incident was documented.
A metal horse shelter with a canvas cover was reported missing Wednesday afternoon in the 1900 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers spoke with the caller. The shelter had been blown down by wind.
An officer was requested Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington regarding a vehicle that caller’s mother’s ex-boyfriend wanted to take back now that they had broken up. Officers responded. It was a civil matter.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Wednesday morning that his mother had called and said her ex-boyfriend was at the residence after she told him to get out. Officers responded. The female subject wasn’t there. Officers spoke with the male subject and advised him of his options.
A tree was reported down Wednesday morning in the 900 block of East Third Street in Washington. The tree reportedly hit a vehicle and took down a power line. Washington Fire Department responded.
