Prairie Pride 4-H Club
The regular meeting of the Prairie Pride 4-H club was held at the Extension office on Oct. 21, 2012. The meeting was called to order by Sarah Greiner at 5:15 p.m. The Pledge was led by Michaela Hoffman. Twenty-five members answered roll call by telling something unique about themselves.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by Makenna Burdock and Michaela Hoffman. The treasurer’s report was not given. In old businesses, discussion was held about 4-H Week and the fall fair and how each activity went. In new business, Awards Night is Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the Extension office. Members are asked to bring a dish to pass. There is a haunted house afterward for anyone wanting to participate. Enrollment needs to be done by Nov. 1.Record books were returned along with premium money.
The meeting was adjourned with the 4-H pledge led by Sierra Wagner. Jenah Greiner gave a presentation on homemade bouncy balls, Sarah Greiner gave a presentation on livestock judging, and Lyndsay Adrian gave a presentation on seven-layer taco dip. The group then enjoyed refreshments.
