Washington
On Thursday night, the Demons will kick off districts at conference opponent Fort Madison.
Fort Madison won the season series against Washington 3-1, but during the final doubleheader on Tuesday, the Demons did not throw their top pitcher, Ashley Rausch.
Rausch will be starting Thursday’s contest, and in her one start against Fort Madison on June 2, Washington won 8-2, with both Bloodhound runs being unearned.
The senior allowed four hits to Fort Madison, walked five, and struck out nine in the contest.
Tonight’s game will start at 7 p.m.
Mid-Prairie
The Golden Hawks will take on Williamsburg on Friday evening in the second round of playoff action.
The teams met fairly recently  on June 27 on a neutral site at the University of Iowa, with Mid-Prairie earning the 10-0 win in five innings.
This game will be played in Kalona, giving Mid-Prairie the home field advantage.
In the previous game against Williamsburg, the Golden Hawks put up 13 hits, including a homerun by Taylor Kurtz.
Kurtz, Emma Troyer and Amber Kral all picked up multiple RBIs in the game, as Troyer pitched a five-inning shutout, allowing only three hits and one walk while striking out four batters.
Highland
The top-ranked Huskies will be taking on conference opponent Wapello on Friday night in Riverside.
Highland won the two meetings between the teams, taking the game at Wapello 5-1, while winning at home 10-2.
Kelsey Hora was a combined 5-for-8 in those games, while Cheyann Adamson went a combined 4-for-8 against Wapello.
The game will be at 7 p.m.
