Washington High School peer helper Katie Wellington, daughter of Earl and Susan Wellington, gives Kaytlyn Christner, daughter of Tracy Christner and Rodney Christner, back the MacBook computer she was issued last year as part of the district’s 1:1 program, in which all high school students are given computers for the school year. The district had an assembly to discuss the proper care of computers Monday evening. Another assembly will be held beginning at 6 p.m. this evening for freshmen and sophomores.
