OTTUMWA — Richard Michael Vittetoe, 87, of Osceola, and formerly of Farson, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at his home.

Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at St. Mary of the Visitation in Ottumwa with the Rev. Bernie Weir presiding. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa. Open visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa. A Christian wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by family visitation until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Seton Schools in Ottumwa, or to Friends of Lake Darling at P.O.
