Schrader selected for award

Photo by: Journal file photo By Derek HellingSports EditorWashington High School Dean of Students and former head football coach Randy Schrader has been selected to receive the United States Marine Corps’ Semper Fi Award.The award is given by the U.S. Marines Corps and Glazier Football Clinics to honor high school football coaches who display faithfulness to the mission of their team and exemplify the standard of developing leaders. It recognizes a high school football coach who lives out the Marine Corps motto: Semper Fidelis, “Always Faithful.”Schrader will be presented with the award during the Demon Relays at Washington High School on Thursday, April 10.
