Ed Weeks (left) will soon end his time as chairman of the Washington County Hospital and Clinics Board of Trustees and as a trustee, too. His term expires by the end of the year.
Before the meeting began, Weeks and trustee Ron Barnes examine some of the documents they would deal with during the trustees’ meeting, which was held Thursday afternoon.
Weeks appointed Marty Beenblossom and Jim Harris to the Nominating Committee. They will recommend the officers for 2013.
The Finance Committee reported that September was a good month for the hospital. Chief Financial Officer Steve Sanders reported that the net operating revenue in September was $2,160,598, which is an increase of $274,072 over August.
Barnes toured the hospital prior to the meeting. He reported that the hospital was clean and neat. He shared some concerns about adjusting the heat or air conditioning in patient rooms to make the patient feel more comfortable.
