Nov 28, 2012
Washington City Administrator Brent Hinson, right, asked the Washington School Board today for an extension on a tax increment finance district the city approved 10 years ago in order to help recover city costs for infrastructure to the 34-lot Highland Park. The city is still $128,000 behind the $356,000 that was spent 10 years ago. The school board also approved authorization to sell bonds for the completion of its high school project.
