Dec 17, 2012
Dani Kane (left) and her daughter Zoe make miniature Christmas trees out of recycled books at the Washington Free Public Library Saturday. Dani said the pages of the books are folded in toward the book’s spine to create the shape of an evergreen tree. Zoe, who will celebrate her birthday on Christmas Day, is seen here applying glitter to her newly crafted “tree.”
