Victims’ names released

According to the Washington County call log no charges have been issued so far from an accident that occurred Wednesday morning at 27187 220th Street in Columbus Junction. The log says that a cement truck driven by K.J. Jones, 52, and a car driven by Betty Louise Podaril, 80, of Columbus Junction collided and the cement truck rolled onto its side. Podaril was trapped in her vehicle. Both subjects were complaining of pain. Ainsworth Fire, Ainsworth QRS, Washington County Ambulance, Louisa County Sheriff’s deputies, and the Iowa State Patrol responded. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
