Washington bowlers fall to Mt. Pleasant
The Washington boys’ and girls’ bowling teams both fell to Mt. Pleasant in a Southeast Conference dual meet at Melody Lanes on Saturday.
The Demon girls totaled a team score of 2,059, losing to the Panthers by 421 pins. Sophomore Kailey Martin rolled games of 180 and 136, and her two-game series score of 316 led Washington. Junior Brandi Hagans added a 292 series, and sophomore Rylee Arbogast had a two-game total of 272. Sophomore Jessica Londberg bowled a 247 series, and sophomore Ivy Hamilton had a 242 series to round out the scoring. Sophomore Kali McDole had a two-game total of 240. Washington added 690 pins in the Baker round.
The Washington boys totaled a team score of 2,271, falling to Mt. Pleasant by 493 pins. Senior Allan Raymundo rolled games of 160 and 167, and his two-game series score of 327 led the Demons. Senior Adam Woodson added a 322 series, and senior Shawn Edwards had a two-game total of 294. Senior Zach Martin had a 287 series, and senior Ryan Roberts had a 257 to round out the scoring. Senior Dalton Nichols had a two-game total of 246. Washington added 784 pins in the Baker round.
The Washington bowling team will host Keokuk for a Southeast Conference dual meet this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Melody Lanes.
