Washington County Historical Society
The Washington County Historical Society's executive board met at 9 a.m. April 25, at Conger House. Ferd Marie presided with seven members present.
Some electrical work still needs to be done in the kitchen.
The plans for the Indian artifact room were displayed, but the work depends on acquiring a grant for part of the work.
Mike Kramme's book is due out in June. There will be a book signing in Conger House.
Twenty-six people from Knoxville toured Conger House last week.
Conger House, Red Brick School and Walnut School will be open on May 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m. May 23, in Conger House.
