Washington JV boys blast Fairfield
Washington had balanced scoring as it blew out Southeast Conference rival Fairfield 46-20 in a junior varsity boys’ basketball game on Friday night.
Junior Mason Quigley had 10 points to lead the Demons (11-2, 4-1 SEC), while juniors Noah Lebsack and Walker Breard added eight points apiece. Lebsack also had seven rebounds and three blocked shots in the contest, and Breard grabbed six rebounds and blocked two shots. Sophomore Gage Redlinger had seven points, five rebounds and four steals, and junior Elijah Wood contributed five points and five rebounds. Junior Brett Wright had four points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Sophomores Travis Friese and Grant Marek chipped in two points apiece, and Friese also pulled down a pair of rebounds. Quigley and sophomore Isaiah Zuehlke both had three steals in the contest.
