Washington JV boys top Williamsburg
Balanced scoring helped lift Washington to a 49-43 win over visiting Williamsburg in a junior varsity boys’ basketball game on Feb. 12.
Junior Brett Wright scored 12 points to lead the Demons (16-4). Sophomore Blake Weidman contributed in nearly every statistical category, adding 11 points, five assists, four steals and four rebounds. Junior Noah Lebsack had nine points, four rebounds and three steals in the contest, and junior Mason Quigley had eight points, five assists and three steals. Sophomore Gage Redlinger contributed six points, six rebounds and three steals, and junior Walker Breard chipped in three points and three boards.
