Washington School Board to meet in Brighton
The Washington School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Brighton Community Center in Brighton.
The board will hold the final meeting of the retiring board. The board will review the school board election results and appoint the District 2 board member.
The organizational meeting of the new board will follow. The elections of president and vice president of the board will be held. Other organizational items include board committees, selection of alternate signature on bank documents, adoption of resolution for office depositories, determine the dates, times and places for regular meetings of the board, appoint legal counsel and appoint a member of the county compensation board.
Other items on the agenda include the consent items, transportation report, nutrition report, activity report, district finance report, early retirement offering, special education resolution, Year 2 Maintenance Plan, board committee reports, curriculum report, superintendent's report, and ELL presentation.
