West Chester UMW
The West Chester United Methodist Women met at the church March 13 at 9 a.m. for a sewing day. Six members attended. Thirty towel chest napkins and 18 triangle chest napkins were made and delivered to area nursing homes.
A potluck was enjoyed at noon.
Sharon Hahn, president, opened the business meeting. Elmarie Capper, treasurer, presented the financial report with a balance of $2,317.73. The minutes of the December and January Executive meetings were read and approved. The nursery was cleaned in January and the kitchen will be the next project. Two funeral dinners were served during January and March.
The next meeting will be April 10 at the United Presbyterian Home at 12:30 p.m. for lunch. Corinne Duvall will present the program. Pat Dusenbery and Karen Gordon will serve as hostesses. Each member was asked to invite someone to the April meeting.
