Winter storm warning issued
A winter storm warning has been issued for Washington County from 10 p.m. today to 6 p.m. tomorrow. These storms can cause high winds, freezing rain, heavy snowfall and dangerous cold temperatures.
The National Weather Service reports accumulating snow and some sleet are expected tonight and tomorrow. Snow accumulations of four to seven inches are predicted. Winds are expected from 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts as high as 35 miles per hour. Temperatures are expected in the 20s and falling with wind chill being down as low as 1 degree.
