WAYLAND — Wednesday night, the Wayland City Council voted to participate in a service line warranty program for a year, allowing residents to cover any potential damages to their water or sewer lines. I think it would be worth it to try it for a year,” said Councilman Josh Miller, who made the motion to participate in the program, as long as it doesn’t overwork the city office staff. “I don’t see a lot of risk in ...

BRIGHTON — In a normal week, I only get to take photos of birds, not fly like one. This past week was exceptional in that I took to the air twice, once in a small airplane and once in a hot-air balloon. Some people have what they call their “bucket list.” I only have a list of things in my head that I want to do someday — health, time and money permitting. Hot-air ballooning was on my list. A couple of weeks ago ...

Wyse has been a geocacher for eight years and has found about 1,100 of these hidden caches ...
