    <title>Edge-line painting on county roads begins</title>

	        The Washington County Engineer’s Office has contracted Vogel Traffic Services Inc. of Orange City to paint approximately 142 miles of edge-line on paved roads throughout the county. Work was scheduled to begin Wednesday with the painting of stop bars and other hand symbols and then progress to edge-line painting. The entire painting operation should last about a week, weather permitting.

	        Washington resident Jon Coon is thankful his house didn’t suffer more damage. During a thunderstorm on Sunday night a tree fell onto his house.
