Washington entered the 2013 baseball season with some question marks after graduating seven seniors from last season’s state tournament team, but head coach Nathan Miller learned a lot about the makeup of his young team in Tuesday’s season-opener at Dick Sojka Memorial Field.
The Demons fell behind 2-0 early, but scored four unanswered runs to rally for a 4-2 win over visiting Eddyville-Blakesburg.
