4-H photos flood the fairgrounds

Jul 13, 2017
4-H’ers work on mounting their photos for the fair this week.

Over 100 photos were mounted by 40 4-H members on Tuesday, July 11, as part of their county fair project preparation. A special photo mounting day is held each year for all 4-H youth enrolled in photography to select mat board, size photos and mount their projects for judging day. These photos and more will hit the fairgrounds Saturday, July 15, for non-livestock judging.

Jodi Ebert, Photography Assistant Superintendent, said, “We had the perfect amount of volunteers and some really good photos come across the tables today. We’re anxious to see all the other photos on Saturday.”

The photo exhibits will be on display starting Sunday, July 16, at 6 p.m. in the upper level of Dallmeyer Hall. All other 4-H exhibits will be located on the lower level. The exhibits can be viewed Sunday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Monday – Thursday 10 a.m.– 9 p.m.
