4-H Senior Feature

Jessica Hora, of Riverside, is the daughter of Mary and Andy Hora.

She attends Washington High School and is a member of the Jackson Jets.

Her projects include: swine, photography, rabbit, home improvement and pet project.

Jessica’s 4-H Activities are: Clover Kids club associate, club community services – Stamp Out Hunger, Bingo with elders, Christmas shopping for those in need, club recreation leader and Fair Queen Contest in 2017.

“My special memory in 4-H was when I participated in the Queen Contest in 2017,” Jessica said. “It was a wonderful experience and I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from being in it.”

She said 4-H is a wonderful group to be involved in.

“It gets you involved in your community and teaches you to help others,” Jessica said. “I showed livestock and it taught me a lot of responsibility with taking care of them. 4-H also helps you learn to speak in public and to communicate with others and be more outgoing.”

Her other activities are: soccer, archery, marching band, concert band, La Onda Club, Faith Formation Teacher Associate and Bible School Crew Leader.

Her future plans are to attend college.
