A dummy of fisherman “Mickey” has taken residence in the center of the pond in Marr Park that has been dug out for reconstruction. The mannequin was found dumped on a Conservation Department property and the bench was donated many years ago. The bench is no longer safe for people to use. Conservation director Steve Anderson said the bench will remain at the bottom of the pond when it is refilled and hasn’t decided if Mickey will remain.
