Autopsy report: Eldon man died from homicide

ELDON — An autopsy was performed on an Eldon man who died suspiciously Monday morning, and the result from the medical examiner was that his death was a homicide.
Darrell Teeter, 64, of Eldon, was found dead in the Main Street Bait Shop in Eldon Monday. Dennis Klein of the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner performed the autopsy Tuesday and determined Teeter died at the hands of another person. No other information from the autopsy report has been released.
The investigation into Teeter’s death is being conducted by the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office who is being assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Crime Lab Team.
