Beverly Jean Bartmann, age 85, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Parkview Home in Wayland, Iowa.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Darryl Carr officiating. Calling hours will begin 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Beverly was born November 3, 1931 in Bloomington, Iowa, the daughter of Bert Arthur and Hazel Wilma (Kirkpatrick) Butcher. She graduated from high school in Olds, Iowa. Beverly was a homemaker and an antique dealer. She was a member of the Questers in Washington and was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Perkins and husband Paul of St. Charles, Illinois; son, David Bartmann and wife Cynthia of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren: Luke and Matthew Perkins, Stephanie and Jessica Bartmann, Julie Bechtel and Christopher Bartmann; great-granddaughter: Aleah Bechtel; siblings: Charlotte King of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Betty Maddix of Mesa, Arizona; William Butcher of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Mike Butcher of New London, Iowa; Pam Shinstock of Salem, Iowa; and Steve Butcher of North Liberty, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff Bartmann in 2007; brother, Bert Butcher, Jr.; sister, Virginia Machholz-Marshall; and sister, Patricia Weller.
