Rita Berry, of Bates City, Missouri, arrived at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz, on April 13 for an extended visit. On the evening of April 15, they were joined by Winifred’s children, Tony and Lynn Fritz, of Brighton; Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield; and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth, of Packwood. They enjoyed the evening meal and playing cards.

Mary and Joel Boatright, Bridget Hollingsworth with a friend from work, and Tony and Lynn Fritz enjoyed a lasagna supper at Winifred’s home on April 17. They spent the evening playing cards.

Enjoying the evening meal of April 18 at Pizza Ranch in Washington were Winifred Fritz, Rita Berry, and Winifred’s son Joe Fritz with Sophia.

Melvin and Jennabelle Mullikin, of Packwood, celebrated his birthday and their 24th wedding anniversary by dining at Sirloin Stockade in Ottumwa on April 15.

Pat Remington met her sister Kathy, of Chariton, with friend Wayne, at Sirloin Stockade in Ottumwa on April 15.

A baby shower for expecting parents J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth, of Packwood, was held on April 14 at their home. It was hosted by J.D.’s sister, Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield. Approximately 25 friends and relatives attended. Among the guests were their parents, her twin sister, Rita Berry and Winifred Fritz.

Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met April 17 at the home of Joyce Dunbar. Shirley Schooley was the co-hostess. Eleven members answered roll call. Joyce presented the program “The P.E.O. Flower, the Marguerite” (a daisy). Their next meeting will be held May 1 at the home of Barb Mottet.
