LONE TREE — Carol Ann Keeler, 63, of Florence, Colorado, died Monday, April 17, 2017, at her home in Colorado.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 24, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Following committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.

Mrs. Keeler was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Gerold and Glatha (Johnson) Seitz. She married John Keeler on July 1, 1972, in Columbus Junction.

She was a graduate of Columbus Community High School. She was a correctional officer for the State of Colorado. She enjoyed crafts, Yahtzee, camping, fishing, gardening and traveling; but most of all, she dearly loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, John, of Florence, Colorado; three children, Brenda Hadley and husband John, Tommie Keeler, and Chad Keeler and Melanie Nunez; nine grandchildren; and seven siblings, Judie, Becky, Gerald “Skip,” John, James, Lloyd, and Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; and four siblings, Emma, Geraldine, Tom, and Leonard.
