The Washington County Historical Society Executive Board met at 9 a.m., June 22, at Conger House in Washington. Ferd Marie was presiding officer, and six members were present.

Members were reminded that the next open Sunday for Conger House will be July 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. It was reported that sometime in the past week, hostas were stolen from the flower bed in front of the porch on Conger House. Mike Zahs gave a report on the film festival held on June 17 in Washington, D.C. The documentary “Saving Brinton” was shown and was well-received. Two board members will attend a Small Museum Conference to be held in Wapello in July.

The next meeting will be at 9 a.m., on July 9, instead of the regular date.
