The regular meeting of the Washington Go-Getters 4-H Club was held Nov. 12, in the lower level of the Extension Office Building, hosted by Dolans, Ross, and Langstraat.

The meeting was called to order by new president Leah Evans at 6:36 p.m. Roll call for the meeting was “What’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish, and who makes it?” The minutes were read by secretary Makenna Rich and were approved. New treasurer Hailey Shultz reported on checking and savings ac-counts. The money from the savings account will be be moved to the checking account, and the savings account will be closed.

In Old Business, Rachel talked about the Butter Braid Sale turn-in and the 4-H Pride T-shirts. Hailey read off the list of people who still needed to pay their dues. It is to be decided what to do with the T-shirts. The club can either donate them to local kids around the area or ship them off to countries that need them. Leah and Hailey talked about 4-H Awards night.

In New Business, members were reminded that they had to be registered by Dec. 1, 2017. On Dec. 2, the butter braids will be delivered and the 4-H T-shirts will be delivered. Registration was on Nov. 22 for the Dec. 2 Project Extravaganza. Dec. 16 is the Market Cattle Weigh-In for anyone wanting to show cattle. The new activities committee consists of Madison Fishback, Leah Evans, RyLee Fishback, and Emma Stalder. The meeting was adjourned at 7:21 p.m.

The 4-H Pledge was recited by Collin Murphy. Talks were given by Collin Murphy on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, Kyleigh Dolan on Rabbits, Alex Murphy on Bagel Bites, and Tanner Murphy on Football Safety.
