Sharon Niffenegger was hostess to 12 members of Tuesday Coffee Club on April 3. The Pizza Ranch was the gathering spot for lunch. A time of visiting was enjoyed following a tasty lunch.

A couple of members were welcomed back from their winter homes and waiting for Iowa to warm up and have normal April temperatures. Time spent with family celebrating Easter was discussed with members sharing family stories and as always bountiful meals shared. Dorothy Weber reported that “Our Iowa” publication for April/May 2018 had a interesting article on “Keeping It Local In Washington.” It stated that, if you go to Washington, see a movie at the historic State Theater, bike the Kewash Nature Trail, bring the family to Kidz-Fest in May, visit the Conger House Museum, come for the Summer Classic in June, grab a slice of pie at Applewood Bistro and stop by the Thursday night farmers market. Just a few suggestions they listed also stating that “Central Park is the hub of all this activity.” Nancy Rash accompanied the Associate Editor of “Our Iowa” publication and shared many places of interest in our hometown.

Vivian Griffith will host the next meeting at 11:30 a.m., April 17, at The Pizza Ranch.
