The Columbus Community Wildcats dropped a home SEISC game on Thursday, Jan. 16 to the Lone Tree Lions 74 – 56.
“Our game plan was to attack the basket, drive and get a kick-out, then crash boards. I’m going to give Lone Tree credit, they’re a good team. We’re improving, the guys know that,” Columbus head coach Mark Beerends said.
Senior Ricky Rivers led Columbus in assists with two. Senior Alex Cruz had three steals to lead the Wildcats and senior Todd Kenan paced Columbus with two blocks.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-9 on the season. They are in action again on Friday, Jan. 17, at home against Highland.
