The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held Monday, May 1, at the Olds United Church of Christ. President Bright called the meeting to order and opened the meeting with the group singing the Sword of Gold.

Twelve members answered roll call with their favorite pizza.

Lisa Kempf gave meditations by reading “A Seed to Live By.”

Minutes of the previous month’s meeting were read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was given by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.

Committee Reports: Camp Girls’ Gifts-Pat Miller reported sending one birthday card.

Ways and Means-The T-shirt order is in and will be available for pickup at the next meeting.

Camp Girls-This year’s camp girls have completed their registration. These were then delivered to the state camp chair at the convention. They will be attending Camp Wyoming the week of June 11-16. They will be picked up and dropped off on return in Mount Pleasant. While at convention items for the four girls to use at camp were purchased. The girls and their families will be invited to come to the camp shower on May 22.

Program for the next meeting- Missy Fear and Tina Shelman will be hostesses for the May 22 meeting to be held at the Olds United Church of Christ. This will be the camp girls shower and Founders Day Celebrataion. Betty Molander will give meditations. The June meeting will be held at the Olds U.C.C. as and at the meeting the camp girls will share their experiences at camp.

New Business: Bills were presented for expenses at convention. A motion was made, seconded and passed to pay these.

Convention Report: Nancy McGohan and Barb Shelman had attended the 69th T.T.T. Iowa State Convention in Spencer. A Power Point presentation was shown to the group. The main highlight was the camp session’s “See It, Sow It, Grow It,” making each one visible by putting members out there and ideas for attracting new members and the session on fundraising ideas. Chapter L was presented with a certificate recognizing 85 years as a chapter.
