Eight were present for the luncheon meeting of the Wyman Community Club on Monday, July 3, at the Ainsworth Four Corners.

Those attending were Margaret Patterson, Elaine Prom, Ruth Erwin, Frieda Finke Lucille Humphreys and Billie Jo Rose from Crawfordsville and John Wittrig and Laura Wittrig from Winfield.

The group will meet again at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, at the Ainsworth Four Corners.

The White Cloud Club met Wednesday, July 5, at Ainsworth Four Corners for lunch.

Pat Miller called the meeting to order by reading “Forget or be Forgotten.”

Roll call was answered by each telling their favorite Fourth of July memory.

Margaret Patterson read the minutes of the last meeting.

Attending were Jolene Colthurst, Frieda Finke, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson and Virginia Sands.

All enjoyed the White Elephant gift exchange with many valuable and treasured gifts.

The August family potluck supper will be held Sunday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. at the United Church of Crawfordsville.

The club tour for Sept. 5 is still in the planning stage.

Son Spark Labs is the name of the Vacation Bible School at the United Church of Crawfordsville to be held Monday, July 31 through Friday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Becky Kremer is in charge and you may contact her if you are willing to help of have children who would like to come.

Those between the ages of 19-35 and their children are invited to Family Fun Night, “This is Us” on Wednesday, July 12, at 6 p.m. ,at the United Church of Crawfordsville. The Parish Council, in connection with the church’s goal to continue Youth and Family Ministry expansion in the community will be offering this event to young adults in the community. Hamburgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese and homemade ice cream, along with drinks will be provided. After supper the family will be able to enjoy slip ‘n’ slide kickball. There will be a babysitter available.

This is a rain or shine event with games inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
