Meeting for lunch at Ainsworth Four Corners on Monday, Oct. 2, were John Wittrig and Laura Wittrig from Winfield, Vivan and Eileen Jennings of Columbus Junction; Margaret Patterson, Lucille Humphreys, Billie Jo Rose and Frieda Finke and her daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Phil Deats of Clive; Ruth Johnston of Ainsworth; Joann Love from Washington and her daughter, Sharon Ryderof Bettendorf and Wilma Vosburg of Grinnell.

The group will meet again on Monday, Nov. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at Ainsworth Four Corners.

The White Cloud Club met Tuesday, Oct. 3, for an 11:30 a.m lunch at Ainsworth Four Corners with nine present.

President Jolene Colthurst opened the meeting with a reading, “Falling Leaves.”

For roll call each was to guess their mystery sister and all had a small gift to open.

The secretary and treasurer’s report was given by Pauline Richardson. There was no old business.

New business: election of Officers was held. President- Margaret Patterson, Vice President- Jolene Colthurst, Secretary-Treasurer- Pat Miller, Reporter- Shannon Sells and Assistant Reporter- Betty Lintz

Pauline gave a report on past tours the club had taken.

New president Margaret went over plans for the next year’s meetings.

Attending were Jolene Colthurst, Frieda Finke, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson, Virginia Sands and Shannon Sells.

The club will enjoy lunch at the El Oasis in Winfield on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m. with Joyce as hostess.

Remember Family Fun Nite, Saturday, Oct. 14. A hayrack tide and bonfire will be held at Rick Fulton’s pond. Meet at the church at 5:45 p.m. Leave the church at 6 p.m. or you may drive out yourselves. Supper of hot dogs, chips, s’mores and drink will be provided. Please let the church know if you plan to attend so they know how many to plan for, for supper. Young and old and in-betweens are invited.
