Deadline for adult summer reading program is Saturday

Jul 05, 2013

Saturday, July 6, is the last day to register for some of the adult summer reading programs at the Washington Public Library. Programs that require registration include Letterboxing With Maude (Mondays, July 8 and 15), Raising Money-$mart Kids (Tuesday, July 9), Architectural Tour of downtown Washington (Tuesday, July 16), and Scrapbooking with Project Life (Tuesday, July 23).

All other library programs in July are drop-in programs that do not require registration, including the Noontime Concert Series (Thursdays, July 11 and 25), Thursday Tech Times, Raising Backyard Chickens Program (Monday, July 22), and Ask A Funeral Director Program (Tuesday, July 30). Pick up copies of the All Iowa Reads book today, for the discussion on Monday, July 29.

All programs are free and open to the public. Pick up a calendar at the library or find one at the library's Web site: <www.washington.lib.ia.us>.
