Demon bowlers participate in home triangular

WASHINGTON – The Washington High School boys’ and girls’ varsity bowling teams competed against Keokuk and Fairfield on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Lebowski’s. The boys placed third in the triangular with a total score of 1,908. The girls also placed third with their score of 2,049.
Freshman Collin Zear had the single-game high of 201 for the Demon boys. Zear also had the highest two-game total with a 328.  Junior Kali McDole had the single-game high for the girls with a 180. Senior Brandi Hagans had the highest two-game total with her 271.
The Washington boys did win the last Baker game with a score of 195. The girls won the second Baker game with their 145 score. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams will hit the lanes again on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Washington for the Southeast Iowa Conference Tournament.
