Demon boys stay unbeaten in the SEC

MT. PLEASANT – The Washington High School boys’ soccer team is still undefeated in Southeast Conference play through three matches, besting the Panthers on their home pitch 1 – 0 on Friday, May 2.
Senior Mason Quigley scored the match’s only goal unassisted. Junior Jacob Baughman improved on his already stellar season as the Demons’ keeper, making 11 saves as he played the entire match in goal.
The Demons are now 4 – 1 overall and 3 – 0 in conference matches. They take the pitch again on Thursday, May 8 at Keokuk where they will have a chance to get the season sweep of the Chiefs.
