Demons fall at Marion

MARION — For the first time this season the Washington boys’ basketball team dropped a double-digit decision, 48-38 against Marion, Tuesday.
Washington led after one quarter 14-12 but fell behind by halftime.
Junior guard Thomas Bump led his team with 11 points and had a double-double with 10 boards.
Juniors Gage Redlinger and Blake Weidman had 7 points, each. Weidman had seven rebounds.
Junior Daryn Sebelius had a team-high 16 rebounds with 13 of them coming on defense.
He led the team with three steals.
The Demons shot 42 percent from the field and shot 3 of 11 from distance.
