KALONA — Evelyn Sheryl Swartzentruber, 33, of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 25 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, in the Sharon Bethel Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Swartzentruber was born March 27, 1984 in Iowa City, the daughter of James Arlin and Fannie N. (Miller) Swartzentruber.

Surviving are her parents; tour brothers, Titus Swartzentruber and wife Anna of Wellman, David Swartzentruber and wife Kathleen of Kalona, William Swartzentruber and wife Dorothy of Plad, Missouri, and John Swartzentruber and wife Wanda of Port Republic, Virginia; 20 nieces and nephews; and grandparents Eldon and Katie Swartzentruber of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Swartzentruber; a niece; grandmother, Eldora Swartzentruber; and grandparents Noah and Lydia Miller.
