On Jan. 24, Shane Yetter, 27, of New London, and Trevor French, 20, of Burlington, alerted the Winfield Police Department that they had allegedly been robbed at gunpoint at a local business. The investigation of the alleged robbery led police officers to Wapello, where a juvenile female from Oakville, her name was withheld by the Winfield Police Dept.; Junior Ponce, 19, of Wapello; and Alezzandro Campbell, 20, of Wapello, were all charged with second-degree robbery. As a result of further investigation, Yetter and French were also arrested. They have been charged with delivery of a controlled substance — marijuana.
