The Washington County Extension Office hosted “Fizz, Bubble, Goo” Day Camps on June 24, 25 and 26 in Riverside, Marr Park, and Wellman Parks for youth who just completed second and third grade.   About 50 children total participated in the camp.  Each day contained the same fun, excitement, and experiments.

Campers learned about the science behind many different fizz, bubble, and goo substances.  They experimented and identified mystery powders, made several types of goo to take home, and competed with Alka-Seltzer fizz rockets.  They enjoyed making garbage can root beer and bubbles large enough to stand inside.
