Journey Bound Ministries, a southern gospel quartet, will present a program at 6  p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Prairie Flower Baptist Church in Washington.

“Journey Bound” lives up to its name. Members are on a “journey” and they are “bound” for heaven. Southern tells their style; gospel tells their message.

The demand for this group reaches far beyond the bounds of their hometown and state. Their message is clear and their testimony is sure. They sing and share about the King of their lives, Jesus Christ. Each of the men in this group has a personal relationship with Christ and will be quick to tell you of the joy they have in serving Jesus with their lives and music. They are all family men and all have full-time work as well as being involved in their home churches and church programs. You will find a service or concert with “Journey Bound” to be fun, entertaining and spiritually uplifting. So come and hear Warren, Larry, T.W., and Jeff – that’s “Journey Bound” — for a great time of southern gospel music. You will be blessed.

I saw Mickey Gilley perform in Memphis in 2002 and met his brother-in-law, Jimmy Swaggart. Aren't we all a mixed bag.
